Fuss and Feathers
Just a couple of birds working
the bird feeder outside my shed.
The sun is setting behind them
highlighting their feathers illustrating
the dynamics of their flight. The
camera was set on a tripod as I ran
a cable release into the shed where
I was hiding. I peaked through a hole
in the shed and kept making exposures
capturing a variety of fuss and feathers.
The first picture I ever got published
40 years ago was of a couple of birds.
It was nice to return to my roots. Just
plain fun. Also, I saw a parakeet at
the feeder at one point. Probably just
lost from someone's home.
