Resin Carburetor

The purpose of this image was to present a car part made from special resins in a dramatic way. Strong side lighting was used to emphasize the detail and form of the subject. The vignette was created with Photoshop to add drama to the object which in itself was not visually interesting. A bracket was used to pose the object suspended and angled to make it look like it was flying in open space. The bracket was then removed with Photoshop. This photograph demonstrates how to add visual drama to a mundane object. It is always tricky to make mundane objects look interesting. This is were lighting and Photoshop come into the picture. No pun intended
